"14'2" Boat for Wasp - #414. 2 Boats for #435 [Colonia] and #437 [Vigilant] as in dotted lines. Raised - with deck at bow & stern. No centre board or mast. Made on moulds of 'Boat to Steamer No. 164' [Javelin] which are taken from Coquina by using 7/8 sp[unreadable]. Riser at end of deck at both ends to be straight across top and 1/4" higher than top of flanged eye [-] strong enough to rest boat on when upside down. Frame spaces 8 1/2", timbers 11/16" sq., planking 5/16" cedar. Stem hackmatac, stern white oak 15/16" thick, keel 1 1/4" deep with 3/8" lip [?] thwarts 13/16" thick mahogany. Thwarts stringers, white oak 1" x 3/8". Sheer-streak [sic] white oak 3 1/4" x 1" x 3/8". Gunwhale stringer 7/16" x 1 3/8". Floorboard 3/8" cedar. Grateings [sic] mahog[any] [as per notes on drawing 28-11]." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 26, 2009.)
