"See penciled pantograph hull sections with tracing marks in Halsey C. Herreshoff Collection at the Herreshoff Marine Museum titled 'D [Model 1107]. From finished model of Sidney of R class c.b. [centerboard] boat. Oct[ober] 30, 1920. Length o.a. O.a. 36ft 9in. L.w.l. 27ft. Overhangs 4ft 9in & 6ft 0in. Q.b.l. 25ft 6in. Displ[acement]. Breadth at sheer. 9ft 10in. L.w.l. 8ft 6in. Draft hull 2ft 3 1/2in'. With numerous notes and calculations. On verso (with 'Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, Bristol, R.I.' letterhead) displacement curve and three additional sets of penciled hull sections marked 'D. 1st trial Oct 24 [19]20. 28 1/2ft w.l', '2nd trial Oct 28 [19]20. 27ft w.l', and 'D. 3rd trial', respectively, and further calculations.
