"Newly identified model. Letters by George M. Pynchon and from R. W. Emmons dating from September and October 1911 in the collection of the Herreshoff Marine Museum (subject folder 11) suggest that NGH / HMCo had proposed a new big boat class along the European 15mR rule to members of the Eastern Yacht Club."
