Original text on model:
"[One WL is marked] 101.85 tons cg = 69.49 f = 50 1/8 % ["f" is probably fineness coef.]" (Source: Original handwritten annotation on model. Undated.)
"See also NGH design booklet entry dated May 20, 1887. 'Weighing of Preliminary Model for a Torpedo Boat 138ft x 15ft. Scale of model 1/48. ... Displacement = ... 101.85 Tons.' " (Source: van der Linde, Claas. September 16, 2014.)
"Newly identified model. Compare model 401 for #152p Cushing and model 1422. At a scale of 1/24 for model 401 and one of 1/48 for model 1422 both models would suggest a vessel of 138ft LOA, compared to Cushing's actual LOA of 138ft. Model 1422 may well have been a preliminary model for model 401." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. 2008.)
