Model identification:
"This may be a model for a catamaran, but a waterline length of only 7 1/8 feet (as is apparently indicted on the model) seems unrealistically short. Note, that at a scale of 1/24 this model would translate into a hull of 16ft length overall. In December 1971, when in Coconut Grove, Florida, A. S. deW. Herreshoff designed a 16ft hard-chined plywood catamaran for Halsey C. Herreshoff II which bears a certain similarity with this model but does not match its outline." (Source: van der Linde, Claas.
