Model identification:
"... plan 28-41, the construction drawing for the Alerion dinghy ... Its first use was clearly for NGH although in the notes (which I could believe were in LFH's hand) there were three lengths shown, made possible by varying the frame spacing: at 5" you got an 8'6" boat; at 5-1/2" a 9'4" one; and at 6" a boat that was 10'2" long. I expect the offsets for this boat are contained in the long-missing Alerion's book ... since drawings for subsequent versions of this boat indicate 'Molds 14/12 of new figures in book for #718.'
