Research Note(s)
"The 9' 9" x 4' 2" Auray Dinghy was first described by Claud A. Worth in 1912 in The Royal Cruising Club Journal. A drawing of it was also published in his book "Yacht Cruising" (on p. 207 in the 1927 edition)." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 26, 2009.)
"This vessel's contract date was estimated from the original plan date. Plan 28-64 (formerly 75-63) from which this boat was built was drawn 1927-06. #1057s Ti Navire (for which this vessel was built) was contracted for 1926-12-27. This boat's contract or building date is about 5 months after #1057s Ti Navire was contracted for." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 26, 2009.)
