"[Item Description:] Two sets of penciled pantograph hull sections (one crossed-out) on 'Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, Bristol, R.I.' stationery titled 'June 26, 1929. Model [Model 1126] for 18ft sqrt(Sail) Class Sail Measurement Rule. Scale 3/4. 25ft 8in w.l.'. The first set of sections marked '1st trial' and with calculations arriving at a displacement of 94.2cuft = 6020lbs. The second set of sections is crossed out, marked 'Not sandpapered' and with calculations arriving at a displacement of 92cuft = 5880lbs. With note 'Estimate of weights. See over'. On verso another set of penciled pantograph hull sections with note 'Re-measurement of C.B. Model [Model 1522] made in Coconut Grove for the 30sqM Class and same as my 18ft sail meas[urement] class' with calculations arriving at a displacement of 94cuft = 6000lbs.
