One-time owner Mrs. Thomas Stone's first husband was Newbold Noyes, editor of the Washington Star. Red Jacket has not been launched in about 20 years, but she is well-stored in a dry shed. Ownership was transferred to Paul Connolly through the Wooden Boat Rescue Foundation.
