It has plywood fore and aft decks that are canvas covered. George W. Zachorne, Jr. bought this 12 ½ in 1985 as a wreck, from Eric Johansson of North Kingstown, RI, intending to keep it for himself. In 1986 he found himself with out any work and sold the boat to Sandy Crouchley of Bristol, RI. Poppy was back at his shop for more repairs and general maintenance over a ten year period. She took first place it the Herreshoff Rendezvous in 1987. The boat is currently used by the Herreshoff Museum Sailing Program.
