"In looking over [#695s] Peg's construction plan and her offset book, I see no indication of LFH's involvement. I suspect that, with some general guidance from NGH (maybe the usual sketch-type layout of plan, profile, and midsection), LFH was assigned the task of carving and fairing the model [no 325] in the hope that he'd take up yacht designing. ... [#707s] Pollywog's construction plan was at least partly drawn by LFH as the notes in the lower right are clearly in his hand. Her offset book, however, is in NGH's hand. ...
