Model identification:
"Newly identified model. Compare with model no. 1505 and with plans for a "162 ft. Steam Yacht for Thomas W. Slocum" dated August 27, 1919. The date for this model was estimated based on existence of model no. 1505 which is dated "about 1918" and refers to a yacht for "Mr. Slocum" which in turn is a reference to the above mentioned plan in the Hart Nautical Collection. It's size and larger scale (1:48) suggests this model to be the final model (model 1505 is believed to be 1:96)." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. February 2009.)
