Supplement

Research Note(s)

"New moulds, frame spaces 7 1/2" (6 7/8" frame space for 13'-6" boat) as per notes on plan 28-31.
Note that the plan head of plan 28-31 appears to specify a breadth of 4' 8" with the 8 crossed out and a 7 written above it, resulting in a breadth of 4' 7. Note also that the mention on the plan of a 13' 6" boat may indicate that the Dinghy for #280p Inca was13' 6" rather than 14' 8".
This rowboat is apparently from model 127 "14 1/2' boat for No. 624 (YRA) 7 1/2" frame space January 1905" (but note discrepancy in length)." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 26, 2009.)

"This vessel's contract date was estimated from the approximate date of its job number. The vessel's job number 6150 was assigned ca. 1911-09-22. Plan 28-31 (formerly 76-64) from which this boat was built was drawn 1905-02-04. #280p Inca (for which this vessel was built) was contracted for ca. 1911-07. This boat's contract or building date is about 3 months after #280p Inca was contracted for." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 26, 2009.)
