Vessels from this model:
12 built, modeled by ASdeWH
Original text on model:
"BUBBLE (285) Scale 3/4" = 1' Dec. 1911 by Sidney KATOURA's launch 1913-14 (burned)
KATOURA's second launch 1916" (Source: Original handwritten annotation on model. Undated.)
Model Description:
"25'10" loa Bubble, gasoline launch of 1911." (Source: Bray, Maynard. 2004.)
Model Comment:
"Reference to Model 411 was added by CvdL because in many aspects this vessel's construction plan 002-089 is a near perfect tracing of construction plan 002-0082 for #293 Power Launch for #215p Roamer which was stated to be made of 'Model #284 reduced'. #284 was a Power Launch for #719s Vagrant II and identical to #285p Bubble for which Model 411 had originally been made." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. October 25, 2020.)
Note: Vessels that appear in the records as not built, a cancelled contract, a study model, or as a model sailboat are listed but not counted in the list of vessels built from a model.
