"Boat for 46ft w. l. Cutter. Herreshoff Mfg. Co. April 22, [18]91. Bristol, R. I. Frames made 3/4 size of Coquina, but with a different sheer line. Frame spaces, 6"; timbers 9/16" sq; planking 1/4" full cedar. Deduct in making moulds 13/16". Timbers white oak 9/16" sq, stem hackmatac. Keel 7/8" x 1 5/16"; aprox. 1/2" x 2 1/2". Stern 3/4" oak; thwarts 3/4" x 7" mahogany. Thwart stringers white oak 5/16" x 7/8". Sheer-streak white oak 3" x 7/8" x 5/16". Gunwhale stringer white oak 5/16" x 2 1/2", floor boards 5/16" cedar. Deck 5/16" cedar. Deck beams 1/2" x 1" white pine. [Job] 4225 Jan 28 - [19]07 for (#666) [Avenger] Stern decked into, sheer raised to dotted line [as per notes on drawing 28-27]." The vessel's job number 4225 was assigned ca. 1907-01-28. #666s Avenger (for which this vessel was built) was contracted for 1907-01-21.
