"Boat for 46ft w. l. Cutter. Herreshoff Mfg. Co. April 22, [18]91. Bristol, R. I. Frames made 3/4 size of Coquina, but with a different sheer line. One 12 1/2ft rowboat for Mr. Cochran, job 5995, June 13-[19]11. 12 1/2' boat. Beam 3'-9". Moulds as shown, with sheer raised aft as per dotted lines. Frame space 7 1/2". Keel, frames, planking & stringers as per drawing. Open gunwhale. Stern mahogany or butternut. Seats in same frame specs as per drawing but raised 1" higher no backboard or rudder. 2 sets of rowlock sockets. Lifting rings. Brz. [bronze] shoe full lenght [as per notes on drawing 28-27]." "This vessel's building date was determined from notes on the original plan. Plan 28-27 (formerly 75-14) from which this boat was built was drawn 1891-04-22. The vessel's job number 5995 was assigned ca. 1911-06-13. #692s Westward (for which this vessel was built) was contracted for 1909-10-01.
