Sally Ann [779s] Power Launch
Built for Mr. Spencer Borden. On enlarged moulds from model of Alerions's dinghy. 12 1/2ft long, 4ft 8in wide, with Cady 3hp 2 cycle motor. 4 bl[ade] propeller 10in dia[meter], bent to about 14 1/2in pitch.
Weight of boat complete 400lbs.
Trial on Cove course of 394.5ft, av[erage] time 47 sec. and 580 r.p.m. 2 on board, Rate 5.7mph. Advance per revolution 10 1/2in.
With one on board on 1/2 mile course a little over 6 miles and 600rpm.

Stern, mahogany, 13/16" thick. Planking, white cedar, 5/16" lapped strake. Sheer strake, white oak molded. Seats, mahogany 13/16" thick. [Motor] 3 HP Canoe Special [built by Cady of Canastota, NY].
